REHAB INFORMATION PAGE
My Rehab Center is located in Southeast Indiana-1 hr west of Cincinnati, 1 hr SE of Indianapolis, and just 2 hrs from Lexington, Louisville, and Columbus, Ohio
I have separate paddocks for my rehab clients.
My rehab is for horses with EPM, Arthritis, sway back, 'cold back', chronic soreness, lameness or just needing some good solid work after a summer of showing has taken it's toll. Also, for those horses with injuries that need daily care, with wrapping and/or medication.
My rehab is guaranteed! If the horse does not show improvement in the first month, I only charge half (for the board.)
Rehab for 1 month includes:
Full board, 2 massages per week (a $440 value), all rehab therapies I feel are needed to bring the horse back into shape. I have learned many therapies over the last 7 years to help a horse regain muscle tone and to recover from injuries.
If I feel an adjustment is necessary, I will use Dr. Mark Haverkos for this. He is the best chiro/vet around, I''ve worked with him for 10years and have known him for 15years. I know that he will fix any adjustment that is necessary for your horse.

In the rare instance that your horse would not be fully recovered after one month, or you would like your horse to stay for more work, that can be easily worked out. I have a program for the second month of rehab it includes:
More work over poles, more muscle building, continued massages, and a consultation with Dr. Haverkos on what the best homeopathic/herbal remedies would help the horse to continue to improve.
For torn muscles, tendons or ligaments, I have access to a hyperbaric chamber (cost is extra) which will decrease the healing time tremendously.
The prices for my rehab are:
1 month $500 (plus meds/bandage costs)
Dr. H $120-150 (depending on his bill-I do not charge any extra for holding the horse)
If you do not have transportation for your horse, I do have a very safe, dependable person that I use for this.
This is Bogart, a 4yr old Arab that came to me with a bad swayback. The top pic was taken the day he arrived, the pic on the bottom is only 2 weeks later! His topline is softer, and the huge dip past his withers is gone. Still...much to work on-but a definate improvement.

As you can see, the huge dip behind his withers is gone. His back looks alot more normal now! This was after 1 month in rehab. He went home with his owner to continue his rehab there.
With the rising price of gas, I have decided to offer my Rehab Therapies to those who are interested, in a book form. These Therapies are easy, to the experienced horseperson, with knowledge in groundwork.
The books will have step by step instruction as to how to help your horse to safely and effectively build muscle tone that was lost-in a short period of time.
There will be pictures and diagrams to help you get the most out of the rehab for your horse.
